Speaking:

How almost dying made me a better creative

On December 30, 2025 I was involved in a life-threatening ski accident. I spent twelve days in the hospital and weeks at home in recovery. I lost twelve centimeters of my colon and had to rebuild my life and my creative practice from scratch.

My very first project back to work challenged me in ways I never would have expected, and led to the best work of my career.

In this incredibly honest, painful, and triumphant talk I walk through the lessons I learned in my recovery and I spotlight how asking for what I needed changed everything.

This talk is for everyone, not just professional creatives. It serves as inspiration for us all to dare to think bigger.
